Fast Dry Court Maintenance
Although maintenance is an option, it is required for the court to be playable.  You have the option of Weekly or Bimonthly service (Bimonthly does not guarrantee against weeds).  Service more frequently than once a week is encouraged and can easily be accomodated upon request.

What is included in a service?
A maintenance visit includes rolling the court, applying fast-dry material and/or calcium chloride as needed, and sweeping the court and lines.

Irrigation
Sprinkler times need to be adjusted throughout the season as the weather varies.  Proper watering is the key to a great playing court.  Please feel free to call us for suggestions, however, you will need to contact your irrigation professionals for adjustments.  It is our reccomendation that all of our customers know where the manual switch is.  Ten or Fifteen minutes of watering can be all you need if the court is a little dry.  (Just remember, you can always add water, you can't take it away).

Maintenance Tips
1. Make sure that your sprinklers are operating properly
2. Sweep the court before and after you play
3. Keep all overhanging branches and growth away from the court
4. Ants are a huge problem on the East End.  Your best bet is to call an exterminator.  An additional service will not help this problem, in fact, vibrations from the roller will actually disturb the ants and cause them to come to the surface and create more holes.

Court Closing
If a court isn't closed, it can't be opened the following year.  It should be closed as soon as you're done playing for the season, your lines and nails all need to be removed, and your net needs to come down.  If this isn't done in the Fall, it will need to be done in the spring before the court can be opened.  Customers need to call (631)653-0132 to schedule their court closing, it isn't done automatically.

Trouble Shooting
Your Court Surface

A tennis court can be soft for two reasons:
If it is too wet OR too dry.

A WET court will be dark in color and spongy, it will also be WET to the touch.

A DRY court will be light gray in color, sandy, and powdery.  If your court is so soft that you're leaving divits, you should not play on it.
